Help revitalise the catchment by joining our Creekcare Program. The volunteer CreekCare Team goes out each week to local Bushcare sites and performs on ground works such as weed control, plantings and site maintenance. It's a fun and rewarding way to spend a morning. Read on to view the sites for this month.

Happy New year and what a great start with about 220 mm of rain over the break.
The bush and animals are happy and I hope we are all keen to get back into it after our relaxing holidays. Following feedback from all the Coordinators, we have reduced our bushcare sites to eight (Greening Moorooka has no coordinator at present and they're not sure if they will need us in 2010).
I have attached the Creekcare schedule for Jan - Mar 2010. We will also continue to work at the new OCCA nursery at Nyanda State School. At this stage we will continue with the same format for 2010, ie work from 7 am to 9 am each Thursday morning followed by a social smoko and for the green thumbs continuing on at the nursery until 12 pm.
