Welcome to the Oxley Creek Catchment

OCCA General Meeting

Join us for our February OCCA General Meeting featuring guest speaker Associate Professor Margaret Greenway who will share her research on stormwater treatment and what we can do regarding sediment in the catchment. The Report Card for Oxley continues to mark us down on this subject!

The meeting will also be a chance to welcome our new Creek Ranger, Leah Hattendorff. Also, we have some housekeeping to attend to in regard to changes to our Constitution as approved at the Special General Meeting in October 2009, and the Audited Statements for 08-09 will be presented.

This infrastructure is a major cause of direct wildlife mortality (road-kill) but even more important is the on-going fragmentation and degradation of bushland areas, leading to animals becoming isolated in smaller remnants, greatly increasing the possibility of local extinction.
